North Australian Fishing

Went to Burrenjuck for a fish...trolling along , as usual takina few pics of any wildlife , then we spotted this big brute !!,

we estimate he was at least 6' long, , I certainly wasnt getting out oif the boat to check !!.

He was looking for something to eat & found a dead Turtle, this turtle would have had a shell approx8/10" across , so you get the idea hers not small !!

That's a nice looking lacey mate. When I was a about 15 I saw one drag a sugar glider out of a hollow.
Your getting some good shots down there

I had a small gas BBQ sitting on the ground to keep it out of the wind.
One big bugger came out of the bush and grabbed some meat off the hotplate. Next thing another one came out from a different direction amd they started fighting, rolling around like UFC. the bbq went flying as did the tucker

We see a few of em out near town in the dryer areas around the (Bidgee) river, but nevwer seen one at Burrinjuck before.

This one though was huge !!, normally the ones around Wagga are maybe 3 or 4' but this bugger was every bit of 5'8"/6'
