Short video

They aren't barramundi, but there's something great about the speckled fish ...

just a trailer for a short video of the trout fishing in my local area, most people scoff at the image of big wild trout in Victoria.

good work Cam...really enjoyed watching that. Some good fish in tight country.

I have some suggestions to make the film tighter.
1 Shorten the intro...attention span is not long
2 consistency...when someone hooks up the next shot should be them releasing same fish not someone releasing a different fish. Get enough footage to have choices. Avoid snazzy transitions...fade in/out always works best.
3 Radio lapel mics when u can afford them
4 Music...either all the way through or not at all. Fade it in and out. Dont forget to acknowledge the artist in the credits
5 Camera work will be steadier if you attach a weight on a pole to the bottom of the camera.
Technically a good job with P/shop and artistic use of stills...where they (the stills) overlap music change them in time with the music. Overall good filming but be wary of using zoom....specially with a camcorder....better to walk in and out.

Love to see more of this sort of stuff on the forum! Thanks for putting it up Cam!!
Its not a crisis unless there is blood around.
If there is blood around......well its a police matter...
