I may just get a chance to sneak out for a couple of hours.........depends on wether the Trouble & Strife drags me a long to one of those lil' ol' grey boat de-commissionings or not :bonk:

Yeah true Chanos, I fall asleep thinking about my future GS 5mtr and Landcruiser and how nice it will be to pay cash for it when I return. But still a night on Manton would be a nice change from here. As one well know FFB regular says "work is what I do to pay for fishing"

Hey guys, can you fish from the banks at manton. I am thinking about coming along on friday but I can't take my boat. What time is everyone getting down there.

Cheers Ellen Kerr.

Ellen - anytime from 4pm - perhaps someone with space can take you on their boat, I think our boat is full. There is a landbased spot or two but it wouldn't be much fun for you as everyone else will probably be in boats.

I'm not totally sure if I can make it down yet but if I do I will have a spot or two free. Not fished Manton before but been meaning to give it a shot. If you see a guy with a topless Landcruiser and 5 metre open tinny come and say hi.

Look forward to seeing you dodgy and anyone else going - I'll be in 2rods' boat, an alloy coloured centre console. We will probably fish to the left of the boat ramp if 2rods trusts my good judgement.

I reckon there's too much moon for good fishing but I am looking forward to relaxing a bit.

Still hoping the boat is going to be right but should be there around 4:30. Boats called C SCAM if anyone needs a ride. only 2 of us on board.

Scotty

P.S. are you preparing excuses already Matt???

Matt we can try your secret spot...but I heard it was so secret even the fish didn't know about it

Might be a test to see who get the biggest/most fish???

Oh and matt if you catch more than me you can swim back to the bank. :moon: :moon:

We ate a lot of beef jerky and drank a lot of beer

We found a spot with big fish on the sounder, but no cigar

Moon was bright - it was like daylight on the water - might go back on the dark moon for another try
