Burrinjuck Wildlife
A few of the boys headed off to Burrinjuck for the long weekend for a fish.
We got a few Yellas & a couple of Cod , which were released unharmed. Bit of fog around in the mornings.
Saw a few of these Lizards , I havent seen these before usually only see the small water monitors.
Saw this Black Snake swimming across the Dam form the other shore reacken it was easily a 1.5kl swim & the water was freezing 12C, poor bugger got out onto the bank & just lay there tryin to warm up, he was about 5 foot long but fat as.

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Nice shots mate.
Those lizards are Gippsland Water Dragons. Impressive when they are big boys.
Nice red-belly too. I used to find them hunting for eels/fish/tadpoles along the bottom of freezing cold creeks around Bathurst.
Sheebs.

Nice photos Angry.
Best not put any of me in the background when I'm down there next week or you will ruin the current accolades. And you can keep the joe blakes for yourself too or I won't go outside the cabin.

Rossco, you'll be right.
I was takin the pics, but the bloke drivin the boat at the time was having a chuckle, as he was wondering if it was time for payback for when I put him over the side n in the drink !! I was amazed at the way the bugger could swim !, he was going really well, he swam form one bank across the bay to the other sdie a distance of about 1k & the water was bl..dy cold !! 12C..
Might have to bring your Jacket , It was pretty cool in the mornings , the fog was thick as pea soup & bl..dy cold goin up the river in the mornings.
Boys are all keen , the waters starting to warm up so in another week it should be on ! The Yellas are startin to move
