Corroboree is all silted up

Post by Matt Flynn »

Hereyago, caught today ... a 98cm 15kg barra by Peter Huf, from China, fishing with Chris from River and Reef Fishing Charters. Many thanks to Mike from Fish the Top End who just sent me almost a dozen pictures of fish caught at Corroboree Billabong in the past week or so, he wants people to know the fish are still in Corroboree, waiting to be caught :catch:

I can state for a fact that another guide - Rob from NT Fishing Office got a 98cm barra for a client a few weeks back too...

Only problem was...

The client wasn't meeeeeee.... :banghead: :fubird: :banghead:

And PS - I've done 4 days with Chris from RNR - top bloke and well recommended to those looking for a guide.

Hi Matt
Umm...subject heading "Coroboree is all silted up" is it cryptic or a devious plan to keep fishers away...? :D  :D

looks good, Nice fish, nice n silver n fat too

took the inlaws out there last week and got 5 little ones, and a few PT's
mustv seen 30 crocs sunning themselves on the bank, coupla big ones too!!

was good to see all the wildlife again, first trip for 2011, water was from 20.5 to 23deg.
If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Damn it..... Im taking a mate and his wife (from Syd) out for his first barra trip, and thought Corroboree would be a good option. Doesnt sound promising but at least he'll get some good photos. Be there Saturday am.

But the pics should be worth the trip maxpower, plenty of big crocs sunning themselves trying to get warm i bet!!!!

Good luck.
