Spent the last few weeks down Exmouth way having a bit of a break from work. Only really did around 5 hours of real Billie trolling and raised 4, hooked 2 Blacks and a Sail but only managed to convert the one little Black into a successful tag. Had a totally green crew and I was concentrating on skipper duty and screaming the orders. Here is the link to a clip that was taken. Boat is my little 5.3 Haines. Perfect size for chasing these all over the ocean fish in my opinion.
Good warm up for comps coming up this year.

Re: Exmouth Black
Sorry to have missed the FW comp this year. Had a blast last year and was on the way up to here.
Had a trip planned to Warroora for a few weeks in a few weeks with some mates but gota go East to pick the new boat up.
Got my first Black on the trip last year also, small tinnie and big seas but produced the goods.....
Dropped a big girl the day before, nothing like 100kg plus smashing the short corner and flying out of the water as you turn at the noise of the drag screaming...but the small Black was aconselation and was very happy all round.
Pity it's 2400km away.......
