Change of plans for Tuesdays catch up

Post by Balls »

G’day all

A slight change of plan has occurred for next Tuesdays 5th of April DGFC monthly catch up, Collin Burton from Reidy’s lures will be conducting a spiel about his lure products & some of his new products, he already has a great range of lures & colours that account for a lot of fish species throughout the NT & other destinations around Aus & the globe, so it should be a chance for you to gain some insight into the product range, colours & pick his brains for more info, some of Reidy’s lures will be raffled, starts at about 7pm at the Ski Club, no cost involved, all welcome.

Re: Bait rigging demo - Due to Barrarunoffitis seriously affecting most local fishos, we have postponed the bait rigging night until the Billfish briefing night which will be held at the Ski Club on the 25th of May, the bait rigging will start at approximately 1800 hrs with Pete Deinhoff & his merry band of bait riggers displaying various techniques used by different crews, we will also have 5 kits available for anyone who is interested in having a crack at rigging some baits if they don’t have the gear or haven’t done it before, preferably bring some fresh baits if you want to have a go. As previously mentioned any FFF members wanting to show their bait rigging techniques/gear they use are more then welcome. Baits rigged by the merry band of bait riggers will be raffled on the night & ready for the comp, you don't have to be a member of DGFC & or fishing the comp, all welcome, cheers Balls.

Cool stuff. I might head down and have a squizz at Col's lures. That or I should go see him at his factory..
Fishing in the top end isn't just a matter of life or death, it's much much more serious than that.
