Allass fabrication what is your experience

Post by jonr » Sat Mar 05, 2011 1:48 pm

Saw an ad in the paper today for a guy who does repaires and modification to boats - thinking of getting him to put a pod and console in my boat. Anyone heard any Good or bad reports about this bloke?

Pm me if you don't won't to post it. Says 11 years experience in Darwin so someone must know about him?

Thanks jon

Mate. Go see Wayne in Humpty Doo. His shop is called either "All aluminum" or "everything aluminum". Great work for an awesome price.

Rob at Allycraft is great but prices can fluctuate a fair bit.

I'll be getting work done by him in the near future. He's a neighbours son. He worked for years with GS Marine and I think ended up running the manufacturing side of things. I know he went to China at one stage to do fit out work on the GS hulls. Spoke to him recently. He is a young fella that simply (like many having a go) that tired of making others money, so has struck out on his own. All luck to him.

Michael Stacey is his name. He is a fantastic tradesman. I used to work with Michael at GS and he was our workshop foreman. A more reliable and dedicated tradesman you could not find. As mentioned he is starting out on his own so give him a shot and support a young talented tradey. You wont be disappointed
