Agents for Control

Post by Agent99 »

Hi there all, if you hadn't already guessed I am Agent86's other half, I'm Mrs Smart! I have been sitting here watching hubby chatting in these forums every night and thought I better get in on the action too. I have been largely off the water since September 2010 in the lead up to the arrival of our little "livey" Alexander. I finally got back on the water for the first time last Sunday when we went out on the Adelaide before the onset of the TC Carlos madness, and I was a bit peeved that all I caught was one measley tarpon!
My first post-baby fish, wow!.JPG
Having successfully managed this trip with Alex, who was comfy in his special boating chair, I think we can now plan on some slightly longer trips further afield

Apart from just needing to ensure we have enough formula & water, food, baby-friendly sunscreen and insect repellant, and his little fan, it will probably be easier to fish with him while he can be trussed up like this than when he starts getting around the place!

My biggest barra to date is 90cm, its capture ended up giving rise to some very risque audio that was even turned into a ringtone by Tinny Boy Tim Moore! I am hoping that I will get my metery in not too much longer

I grew up down south and learned to fish for bream and whiting on hand lines with my grandparents and mum near Jervis Bay, and to this day I still love going there, but when I moved to the NT in 2003, I was excited about the prospect of barra fishing. I was blessed to meet hubby in 2007, and was introduced to a whole new world of fishing. Our first official date was a fishing trip to the Blue Holes, and the relationship has been all up since then. Now we are a big happy fishing family!

If there is water and it holds fish, then it is fun trying to fool them into eating what you offer!!

Especially when you can see them!

Hey Polcat, I love sharing my fishing adventures with other ladies - am looking forward to getting back to the SWB (Secret Womens Business) comp this year, and the Palmerston Game Fishing Club has a good bunch of gals all keen on their fishing, visitors and new members always welcome!

Hi Polcat, Casuarina Night Classes runs Femme Fishing if you need the basics, after that it is just a matter of asking questions.
We have info nights at the Palmerston Game Fishing Club for members and guests, the last two being knot tying and run off fishing, but I am sure we can get one of the guys to sit down and run through it with you again if you are interested.
Cheers

Some people only touch our lives for the briefest moment and, leave us with everlasting memories.
Ally Smart..aka..'99' was one of those people.

Adeus meu Amigo.
Condolencias para o Dennis e Familia.

"Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish." (Rafael Sabatini...1857-1950)

I pray that one day God sends me a fish so big that, when talking of it...I have no reason to lie.
