It has NMEA so should work. It will have to be connected to a GPS.

Simpler though if you have a GPS/sounder combo unit. I have never rigged dual units on Dr Depth but many have.

little bit of topic but does anyone know how to unload all the waypoints of my humminbird 998
my mate put that memory card ya buy from the tackle shops into my gps and it saved every single waypoint
onto the GPS so now its like a dot to dot drawing gone wrong just to many marks and half of my old marks
werent named so it makes it hard to work out what marks are what
is there a uninstall thing on these GPS at all or just one buy one????

Download the Humminbird PC software off the Humminbird website. Get a data cable from In and Outboard or Quality Marine, or just move the data using the SD Card.

You can manage waypoints in a free program like the one at www.EasyGPS.com - delete the marks you don't want. Once you have used it you'll wonder how you managed without it.

It's good to save a spare copy of your marks file first on your PC so you don't lose them.
