Re: Wuruma Dam World Fishing Map link
Hi
Wuruma is about 15 k s/w of Abercorn.
Nice dam in the wrong place. In the 20 years that I've been occasionally visting it, its never been more than 17% full. Put there for irrigation purposes downstream and regularly pulled down to 1% by releases of irrigation water.
On the Nogo River which feeds into the Burnett.
Showers, water and free camping but not much else.
Nearest shop/fuel is Eidsvold about 40km away.
Ron
One of the 3 Qld dams to contain bass and barramundi. Also yellowbelly, silver perch and saratoga.
