The Palmerston Game Fishing Club will again be running it's "Corroboree Park Challenge" on 9 and 10 October 2010.

Fished in the picturesque waters from Corroboree Billabong right up to Kakadu, this Catch and Release competition is definitely one not to miss.

A strong emphasis on families is what makes this event so unique. Lines in will be 6am Saturday morning, you can fish all night if you wish or return to Corroboree Park Tavern and enjoy the festivities. Lines out on Sunday will be 3pm. You must have your Digital Photos presented to the PGFC staff at the Corroboree Park Tavern no later than 3.30pm Sunday for the presentation that starts at 4.00pm.

All fish are to be photographed against a recognised measuring device with comp receipt and released thus keeping in line with the PGFC and it’s Catch and release methodology. Should you not have a camera one can be loaned for a nominal fee.

Watch this page for further details coming soon in relation to registration and the 2010 competition in general.
Cheers,
Brad

Great blog Kernal, you're right those inland sunrises are mighty spectacular, especially when you're on the water, the anticipation is always right up there at that time of the day hey!
