NTMAG is buying yarns

Post by Matt Flynn »

NTMAG is again buying stories, paying $100 a page up to $400 per yarn.

Stories from the Pilbara, Kimberly, NT and Cape York welcome.

Haven't had many build-up yarns submitted over the years, so take your cameras fishing and don't forget to get some scenery and action shots, not just pix holding fish

Stories can be about fishing, camping, 4WD, hunting, wildlife, biology, humour and nostalgia.

Remote area trip reports are especially welcome.

Send an email to [email protected] if you have a story idea to discuss.

If you want to get paid, send in a submission for a paid story exclusive for the mag, as there's not much value in stuff that has already been posted here or published anywhere else - it is old news. I put the two FFF pages in the mag to promote the forum.

Looking to embroider a few threads of wisdom into the rich tapestry that is the magazine hey Matt, What are you after natural fibres or the synthetic ones that seem to be the trend of late? :D

Always prefer natural fibres Dick, except on the reels

Only cat gut around here will be hanging off the fence :-)

Re the two FFF pages in the mag, in future I'll put a lure pack up for the "Best quarterly post on FFF" to appear in each mag. It won't be in the November mag though because it's already printed, I'll kick it off in the Feb edition. Will add some goodwill hopefully, except when the argument starts over who should have won

Keen for a paid story from you Stokesy, let me know if you have anything in mind, you can email [email protected]
