North Australian FISH FINDER TM forums

I've recently purchased one of those Fishing almanac's (little yellow books) that give you the best days and times to fish. I don't really know if they can be taken as gospel or if they are any help at all. From my experience they do seem to work but in saying that I've caught plenty of good fish on days it said it would be poor fishing. I'm just wondering whether anyone else knows if they hold any truth and what tides and moon phases work best for you
