Post by Till »

I got this photo sent to me the other day. Dont have many details but it was caught at lake Congola and was close to 150cm. The bloke is having it taxidermed.
One massive flatty.

if that flatty was 1.5 metres, then that bloke must be Andre the giant.

well if the head of fish at his head and its tail at his knee then its only the length of his shin, so if the bloke is 190cm+ then it could be around the length, but id say it would be bout 1.2m long

Do you ever notice when someone claims an unbelievably huge fish that there is never a measuring tape or brag mat in site?

Yeh, unless it has a photo with measurement then I don’t believe it. If people are going to go to the trouble to measure it but then not take a photo at the same time, then I say there full of sh*t.

Yep, probably not the claimed 150 but still a farking huge flattie. Biggest anyone here is ever likely to see by a long shot... I've caught an 87 and seen a 93 and 94 and they're all big fish but this thing blows them away hands down!
