you can never underestimate the taste of a fresh golden trevally.
an old greek bloke told me how to keep the flesh in good nick.
bleed them in sea water, keep them in salty sea water, and seperated from any ice.
anyway, after this one took all the spear line on the reel and tried to give me the good dose of drowning, I cooked the nuggets on high heat, had some with lemon and pepper, the rest transfered into a mix of coconut butter, packet of curry and served on steamed rice and snow peas. look out gordon ramsay!

he's right. one must pickle themselves in tequila (or any white spirit) and allow the pours to expel the ordour into the water. the tequila then reacts with salt creating a pungent odour not even the mighty Carcharodon Carcharias can handle. well not without limes anyway.fishfanatic wrote:Simple.. ya must be tastier than BB
plus i have a 2 big white eyes stitched to the back of my suit. so they think they are being watched.
whats wrong with ya Myst?, you have an average of 5 litres of blood in yoru body. we can afford to loose some cant we? they only chase if you flee like a turtle or a seal. so stand your ground, look disinterested, pee in your wetsuit and prey you havent mistaken that lemon shark for a tiger shark!

lmao, what was it my Grandfather said, something along the lines of "if its got wheels, microchips or boobs it'll cause you headaches..."...
oh no, it was "better a live chicken than a dead duck!!"
i figure anything with bigger teeth than me cant be good for my longevity, and lets just say that even with the right motivation, i'm no Ian Thorpe... that said, keen to have a crack up here! Done some spearing down off Cape Jervis in SA, had a rather temporary feeling when i came out of the water and 5m of line and my snapper were missing...
