PVC pipe, PVC fittings (end cap and screw top) and PVC cement.... Done
Just make sure your pipe is wide enough to fit your rod guides in

As above. Also for carrying the reels, again PVC plumbing fitting with end cap and screw end. A bit of foam around the reel and impossible to damage. No need to be careful with it either in the back of the tojo or in the tinnie.

Re: Rod carry case ~
Make sure you get sewer pipe and not stormwater/down pipe.
sewer pipe is stronger and has better/more fittings
Have a look inside the shop bought rod holders and youll see they are pvc sewer pipe

Re: Rod carry case ~
Hey mate
4 inch stormwater / sewer pipe cheap as.....fittings, cheap too. Ya need some glue and some end caps and you'll be laughing. Cut it to the right length then use either pieces of foam or pool noodles slit open to protect ya rods. I got two of em mate out of stormwater and had them for almost 16 years without problem but they haven't seen much sun. As said above, sewer pipe is a bit more hardy.
Cheers
