that looks like a very nice job... If anyone else doesnt have the expertise and wants a nice bimini made up try Chris at Bold Upholstery. He just made me one for my little crabbing boat. the struts are much heavier than most about town and his price was good as well. He is busy and does not advertise, so that says it all..

Shaggs,

Did you bent up the frame yourself ??

How did you get the tubiong to bend nicely without squashing on the bends ???

What size tubing did you use ??

Yeah,made the lot myself
used 25ml tube with a 19 ml inside diameter so it's 3ml wall thickness
Borrowed a mates ally dies for the bender and didn't have a problem doing the tight radius bends
Sewed the shade up on my industrial machine and got out of it for around $160- That's complete
It's 3-2 long
1-9 wide
1-5 above the gunwhales
The only thing I would do different is use stainless fitting instead of plastic They haven't broken yet but if and when they do I'll replace them with stainless
I have to make up a wet season cover so as I can change them around at will, the shade is good in the dry and refreshing (lol) in the wet

Oh and you must keep the tubing and dies clean and I sprayed them with WD40 so as it didn't bind or pic up on the tubing
