Here is one my brother caught in March 04 on the Vic down near the Bains. It was 54lbs

The fish is currently mounted in the Timber Creek Wayside inn behind the bar

Had a look through all my old photo's and these are the only ones I would say are 50 lbs but can't say for certain as I don't think they were weighed. Seems everyone In my family has caught a giant cept me

Hello

You all should be pretty good at estimating barra by now as u've seen so many of them on this forum.

So u tell me about this one from the saltwater section of the fitzroy in CQ.

I'll tell u this much:

. the fellow is 1.8metres tall;

. the barra is over 1 metre; and

. it is over 50 old fashioned pounds.
