shady camp 131

Post by jonr »

I got this huge fish at Shady camp on Friday morning... it was a wonderful capture as we had 3 boats out for a few days for Joel M 30th birthday trip and all the boys were there to share in the excitement ... the fishing had been very slow until this came long... it was 131 cm and estimated at 30kg as it is bottomed out my 25kg scales before the full weight of the fish was off the ground... had to swim it for about 15 min before it swam off to probably be caught in a gill net one day... because our government still allows commercial fishing in the breading grounds of our most valuable tourist attraction.
