When I first started fishing for Barra 30yrs ago no one talked about a fishes length, it was only about its weight and the magic number was 50lb, that was the club to be in. I know barra come in all shapes and sizes but how does a 1m long barra compare weight wise with a 50lb fish?

My biggest by the way is 52 lb it was a horse thats for sure (caught at Big Horse Creek west of Timber Creek
