Hi there,

Finally got a metery last weekend!
It went 102cm.

Got her on a small 4 inches white flick bait rigged weedless, casted in the timber at the mouth of Swim Creek.
I got very lucky as she went for the sea instead of burying herself deeper in the sticks.
And also thanks to the fast thinking of my skipper Double Haul, who pulled up the anchor, so we could follow her a bit before she got tired.

Very happy with that!
:D

Thanks again to Double Haul for having invited me on his boat and putting us in the right spot last weekend.

Have a good day,
Pecheur

Here is a picture of a Shady Lady I caught a couple of weeks ago, she measured in @ 102 on the run out tide at a costal creek

My horse is a 126 caught at the Roper River last Year, picture not the best but gives you a comparison and yes i have the same shirt on as kindly pointed out by my cook!

G,day,
I put this in the wrong section the other day, probably get more views here. Caught her at Swim creek 2 weeks ago. Previous best was 77cm , so this one at 100 plus a bit (just short of 101cm) I was pretty happy. A new PB to go for next time . Very hard fishing for the first 3 days but got this one on the last day.

Cheers :drinking5:

Timber creek is an awesome spot for barra. Caught my first barra there on a popper made from an unpainted broom stick handle... When they're hungry... They are hungry! Best of luck with the trip.
