Hi all,

took some mates down to Peter Faust a couple of weeks ago - first chance to post!! We worked very hard all day until the evening when I bagged a 93cm specimen. 45 minutes late my mate caught his first ever Barra. Not bad at 103cm!! He doesn't fish alot so he has now stated that he is retired from Barra fishing

Trolled up 150m from the ramp.

I know it's a dam fish in the Horse Club, but I reckon to break your Barra virginity like this should be worth a sticker

I too would retire if my first was that size as it may be a long time till he gets one bigger! lol oops hes fishing a dam. The next fish he gets will probably be bigger! Hurry up Manton. Awsome first fish.

Well done, took my mate to Monduran , he got his first @ 103 !!, he was shakin for about 20minutes afterwards !

His first three barra were 103, 104 & 96 ,....lucky bastard !

At least the boat driver got 2 this time,

Ha to him. I personally have fished for twenty years for three over a metre wild caught ones in Darwin. He will never want to go wild fishing after that! Cant blame him!

dam fish or not thats a nice barra well done

Last time I was out that way, all the dams were just muddy puddles.
