What would happen if you measured a barra on your mat and it went 55.5cm and you threw it in the esky and then the cops measured it at 54cm??

Brag mats do say not for official measurement. Seen this on my mates a while back when his fish came in at a metre on the mat but not on the tape. Can't convince him it's not a metre he recons the picture on the mat is a metre

Have you checked your tape measure isnt out.

Done like a dinner I would say. Mine was 3cm out at 30cm and I meaured that with a 1m ruler, so I would be screwed. I'm going to make one up out of ally and put a sticker over it at least I'll able to see if shrinks.

Yes Mike, it did stir the pot... my brand new one from BCF right out the plastic is 1.5 cm out...
