Sails in the Trench

Raised 3 Sails between 2 boats on Saturday.
This one took a large swimming mullet after smashing the skip gar on the rigger.
Enough bait in the trench to keep us interested on Saturday, but very little bait on the
way home down the North Gutter and across the Fenton Patches on Sunday

I fished the fentons on sunday and saw very little bait fish. Came across a couple skittish schools of tuna but only small pods. Hooked a few trevally , goldies and various reefies. Had a nice hour long tussle with a hammerhead on 24 kg which I got along side the boat and cut off.

Looks like I might have to put some money on the bill collector in the calcutta next week for the comp
