Rigging trolling baits

Post by PeterT »

DBIRD Nt has tech notes on rigging mullet, gars for trolling. I don't think you can get to it via the fisheries page, I tried to find it under fisheries publications and tech notes but couldn't find it. Maybe I was holding my mouth wrong. But it pops up at this address:

https://transact.nt.gov.au/ebiz/dbird/T ... penElement

I think it is pretty damned good that a gov department would have this sort of info on access for rec fishos.

great find Peter.
Hally knows his stuff too.
The NT Government could teach it's neighbours a thing or two about recreational fishing policies.

Fishing is more than the fight between C+R and "Kill it and grill it"

Interesting to note when Phil wrote the paper - 1991 - reckon he'd have built up a lot of other billfish knowledge since then.....
If we all focussed on the important things in life there would always be a long queue at the ramp!
