Hey fellas had my first run today with outriggers started of at fenton and headed out to nth gutter, half way to gutter in 25m of water we raised a black marlin, easily 2m+ it checked out our set than swam off through our trail, it was awsome to finally see one sadly that was only billy we seen, we had 2 other hits and runs but no visual on fish. Well hopefully get a tag in something soon cant wait.

We had skipped gars on riggers one short one long and 2 deep divers in centre corners one short 1 long with daisy chain teaser in centre trolling between 10-12k's was a bit rough so was a little hard to pick speed plus it was a bit hard to get baits to skip properly,

We had another crack yesterday down dundee for a little while in between bottom bashing macks smashed our baits no sign of billies but water was good and clear and was good to be able to play with riggers in calm water getting baits on wake nice and skipping good

Size won't matter! Got a 6kg sail this year off Dundee on a hooter of a gar! Just got to tease them right, wait longer for them to swallow it if a larger bait and use circle hooks and away you go. I'll be out there off the gutters next weekend if the weather allows trying our luck. Few trailer issues keeping me land based for now.
