Last month fishing out of Gove we manage to tag 8 bill fish 7sails and 1 marlin in 7 hours.The sailfish range from 25kg to 35kg and the marlin was a baby around 7kg ( 103cm)

The billfish were tagged 15miles northwest of Gove harbour in 70-80 feet

great stuff fly - love the sail action shots - that wouldnt be a pink skirt (pakula?) being flung around by it by any chance....... :mrgreen:

I recon it might be a pink skirt that sat over trolled garfish

Luke is spot on its just a skirt we skip use when we skip garfish.

Nice Black mate - wish we got them off the usual troll grounds in dampier. Did it take a skipping gar?
