Hey guys just wondering what colours for the lure skirts do you like?,

I can't comment on Billies in the NT, as I haven't got out there yet, but pink and white skirts have gotten me plenty of sails in Exmouth.

To Kp NT you can target billfish on lures up here in the NT.One of the winning billfish classic winners a couple years back was all on lures. The most important thing as when i was young bloke and shown by the best was tag lines they offer very limited drop back or hardly any at all it it important when fish strike to get a solid hook up and this is were they are very effective and easy to use.The correct size rubber bands are also very important at their breaking strain also to help hook set.See wellsy's tackle for correct band size for the line class you are using and you will start to find your hook up rate increasing. When using tag lines do also include a return weight which will slide the tag line back down and clear of the back of the boat.Check out Peter Pakula's video on how to use and set up tag lines for small boats.
