Well done Warren. Great to hear the blue is warming up. I used to run a billfish boat and I used to run 7/0 circle hooks for a much better hookup rate, give it a try.

Nice to hear that the Billies are having a go up there this year, Surprised that you are having problems on the hookup using finger mullet. Can I suggest using Pilchards if you can get some really good ones and going down to a size 5/0 circle in either a Mustad Demon Circle or an Eagle Claw L2004EL. Stay away from the Owners SW Circles. I know the 4/0 has been mentioned but I have concerns about the ability to hook a better fish if you cop a "Dude where's my teaser?!?" incident again. The season here is not far away and a couple of early reports have me thinking it may just be a cracker.
