Thanks Guys, Without me waffling on here just a few pointers on the B52's. They have a rib system inside which makes small chambers on the inside, unfortunately excessive heat builds pressure in these chambers which of course hot air expands & will cause bulging. This usually only happens when the lures are left in a clear plastic tackle box as this basically acts like an oven. I leave my lures laying around on the boat in drink holders etc & in direct sunlight & have no problem as air cools the lure down. We have tested this a few years back & noted that the lure started to deform at 60deg C on the dash of a car in direct sunlight. Some lures have small leakage of air which can aleviate this problem but can cause the lure to take on water. I am more than happy for any of you guys to come down & take a look around the factory & I could explain in more detail. On the packaging of the B52 there is a highlighted section that warns about excessive heat. Guys if any of you have a brand new hardly used lure of ours that fails due to workmanship please let us know & we will happily replace them & this inclludes a warped B52 even though it has been caused by heat it could be a faulty lure as well. The answer to Freon's question is yes they are made in China with our tooling & to our specifications, basically that means we have control over the lure & what production methods are used, I have great faith with the guys we work with & both Karen & I have visited the factory & found it very professional. We would love to make all our lures here in Darwin but it would be impossible. Again guys I would love you to come down & meet you & chat about any queries etc.
Didn't get to go to Manton yesterday due to not feeling great because of the water I drank at Friday & Saturday nights Christmas parties.
Cheers,

Happy Fishing,

Sorry fogot to say the rib system was designed by Jeff Reid (Mr Reidy) for strength & weight & this is why its such a great lure for casting. My advise is keep all your lures no matter what brand in a shaded spot especially when they are in a tackle box as some will warp quicker than others due to sealing qualities.

Get that Red head pearl white going mate and see if that nails a few more... I'll be keen for some.

Note to the expanding lures...... Don't leave them in your car or boat in the sun. Any injection moulded plastic with an air chamber in it is going to expand in that condition..
