Is manton dam any good land based?

Doubt that croc in the paper was the only one in there.......

Mate caught one off the boat ramp, there is also a rocky bit to cast from on left of the ramp by 500m or so.

However Manton LB is a great way to waste time and not catch anything, good if you need to think about something at length without interruption :D

When the dam spills the creek under the spillway can produce a few.

I started the same comments last night and deleted them.
The boat ramp's a great place for a beer, contemplation and endless casting practice for me.
