This is an old thread but just wondering which colours people were having the most success on? Anyone used them much around Shady Camp?
Cheers,

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
Sorry for dragging up an old thread.
If anyone is interested, a company called 'QuickCatch' makes the 'Soft Sports Vibe' thready buster style lure. Find them on eBay. Only brand I've used (for the style of lure in question) and have excellent results.
EDIT: Thread is current

Just went a paid $29.95 for a Jackall trans am 95 20g at my local Tackle World (Barra Jacks Rocky)
If I lose it on a snag I'm going to be ropeable.

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
So what sort of water are you guys fishing them? Jigging in deepish water, or flicking the shallows. Someone told my they weren't suited to shallow water, but I can't see why not? You just have to be wary of snags at that price, I suppose.

I tie on a cheapie and drag it across the bottom to check for snags first. Then pound the area with the TBNewmo wrote:Just went a paid $29.95 for a Jackall trans am 95 20g at my local Tackle World (Barra Jacks Rocky)

Re: THREADYBUSTERS
I refuse to buy thready busters anymore, after the last 3 I bought don't swim correctly straight out of the packet. The original thready busters seemed to work a treat, but recently i think the quality of the product has slipped, which is unfortunate.
