Heres some pics of some 5/0 octopus circle hooks im rigging up to be set on lures as singles if anyone is interested I will be be putting them up on ebay shortly . This one is rigged on 130 lb sufix dacron and whipped on the shank to prevent slippage.

why did you choose the circle shane ??? have you done a few tests and they still had a good hook up rate????
i personally think they would only work on a fish that has struck and turned... with braid nowadays there aint much delay between boof and then striking with the rod so may pull the hook stright out ??
or are these for like octa jigs and the like ???

no reason mate - just doing some trials at this point - you have a valid point though - I am just messing around trying to find a solution. I think they would work well on things like jigs etc - may give them a run tomorrow
