By request for the upcoming Barra Classic, a pair of one-off Moolay done in sparklescent green scales over silver. Also, a prototype of a new addition the "Saxon", a great billabong troller & flicker......

Got new design fishing shirts on the go, available in long and short sleeve. Made by Bigfish Gear, undoubtedly the country's number one fishing clothing manufacturer.

Hi mate

How much does it cost to get a lure made? I'm after a shallow swimmer(1-2m) in my own colour scheme. Thanks

Baby Barra Special.
Usually only made in the "Natural" scheme, this one is done in candy scaled pattern. Fish with it or stick it on the mantlepiece, either way it's great looking lure.
Manufactured from WRC, 200 mm in length, fitted with 6X Fishfighter trebles. Dives to around the 2 m mark.

Had a request to design a lure that would represent a Scat.......one of the lads was down around the mouth of the South over the weekend and told me that BIG Barra were smashing Scats in the creeks.

I said yeah I'll give it a go, so I hops on the computer to see exactly what a Scat looked like and immediately thought this ain't gunna look pretty and I had serious doubts about it's swimability.....

After a few hours of shaping and sanding, then a lot of time experimenting with swim weights I came up with the below pictured lure.

Once I got some paint and eyes on it I was genuinely surprised how close a representation it was and even more surprised with the swim action, it has a seriously good action. With plenty of contrast in the colour and putting out good signals with those big flat sides I will be astounded if this doesn't take fish.....

Amazing lure!

Used to see scats around the Hotham creeks.

Be interesting to see how it goes, should be easy to cast - like a cannon ball.
