wow 9 nearly 10 pages long!!that has to be a record by now on forum? but besides that some nice lures kicking around there and i agree with u guys on the coke lures my pop has a couple in his box a have caught everything from sooty's to barra dunno if they still make them but it would be good to get a hold of some again :)

The Coca-Cola lures by Reidy's are not produced any more.
They only made 5000 of them for a promo in the NT.
Maybe your pop, should try not to loose the ones he has left...

The one you need an ID with, are you sure that it is not an old Nilsi, a dep one?
Or maybe a FM Lure?

Any one on here done any cod fishing in the past using the old "Aeroplane" spinners ??????????

Yep got a couple of those aeroplane spinners somewhere (handed down from my grandfather), never had to much sucess fishing with then though

I've listened to all of my grandfathers stories about catching "BIG" cod on them.
I havent caught anything much with them myself.
I wonder how theyd go with the pelagics ??????
Any thoughts ???

Both mate. I hadn't made a lure in 17 years and was looking for something in the garage and stumbled across some old sanded bodies so I thought I'd give them a run and got bit by the bug again..........I used to put out in excess of a hundred a week back in the 80's & 90's.......this time round I'll stick to a few dozen a month and special requests. A few of the collectors are keen on them.
