Never been there yet. Some people used to take "car-toppers" there from Katherine

The Fitzmaurice is just north of the Victoria river.

Hobbsy,

We launched from Fossil Head SW of Pt Keats. I'll post some more shots next week of the way there and the gorge at the top (well as far as you can navigate anyway).

Yeah the fellas from Katherine used to enter by going across the Dorisvale/Clarivale crossing and driving along the tracks from there, Dry season only as the crossing is generally too high during the wet.
