HELP!!

Post by FishingLane »

Just moved to Darwin with the Family and am living in Allawa. Was wondering if anyone knew any good landbased fishing options close to the area that are easy to access?

Buffalo Creek, Lee point beach, Rapid creek near footbridge. All have ample car parks, and close to walk to as well. Bring bug spray at the moment as well, the bities are on!! :) Pop into Fishing and outdoor world in the city and see the lads there, and pick up a landbased fishing guide from the counter. They're like $5, and worth it. :) Good luck, and welcome aboard.

I'd start with Nightcliff Jetty if you have small kids.

Might be tough with the monsoon, will be rough with milky water along the foreshores.

But spots mentioned above are good, high morning tides and calm weather are good. East Point has some good ledges off the gun turret that can be fished on lower tides.
