Sick buying 2nd grade bait from the shops decided to go for a bit of a look see, and see if I could find some squid - stokes hill lights were off so off we went to NIGHTCLIFF only one other guy with a net great. Grabbed the net gave my son the squid jig and said go for gold. My hats off to my son after a few casts he was casting like a pro, he was also very determined which paid off when I heard the words I’m on ba. Overall a good night 17 gars which we fried with garlic rosemary and vinegar for a late dinner and a few squid for the upcoming fishing trip.Bait scouting trip

There was an Indian couple with a pot, got half dozen big blue swimmer crabs. Absolutely brilliant.

There’s quite a few there a little bit of cork as a float, bit of bread or prawn light gear or just use a net either way easy way to get a tasty feed.
