Low water Mulwala

Got a few pics here of Mulwala from a couple of the boys, thuis is when they dropped the water level to help kill off the weed.

When you've seen it down this low there's no doubt that its a Cod habitat , check out the timber !!

I grew up near there at Benalla, a Police Diver who was there for a body search told me that at the wall where visibility was almost nil he felt 'something' swim past him that was around the 2 metre mark.......scared the bejesus out of him!

Reckon theres some big Cod in there, just look at it, Its a flooded forest , but it gets a flogging, so some opretty wise old ones on there they dont get that big by being stupid.

You should see a pic I'm about to post.

A Murray Cod caught at Blowering , that went ....149cm !!

Whata a fish it would be the largest Cod Ive ever seen & the guy who measured it it absolutely trustworthy if he saiys its 149 I'd believe him no doubt.

When we went there a couple of weeks ago (see Foggy Mulwala) its full as..

Went to Blowering yesterday its up to 52% & rising , water is claear as Gin, you can see the bottom @ 10' !!

Got a heap of Reddies jigging one went 3lb !!
