Fishing canadian style
Was lucky enough to fit sum fishing in on a holiday to canada recentlly. To say it was awsum would be a big understatement. If any one is heading over that way or thinking about it drop me a pm if your after a bit of info , by no means a expert but learnt few things along the way.
I will threw few pics up to give you a idea of wat i experienced , hope you enjoy them
Heading out on vancouver island to chase steel head
bye catch well kind of still good eating, a coohen
wat we came for 25 pound steel head
Had watched shows over the year on a local fish called sturgeon was really keen to try land one
The gun bait so the guide said rotten dead floating salmon
Who am i to argue 6 foot sturgeon about half hour fight
waiting for a nibble
The high light of the trip was when the guide offered me a discounted trip up to a remote river in his jet boat, deal was he wanted to fish to as it was only the two of us. No arguments from me
of we went 1 half hours up a river threw huge mountains in a creek no deeper than a foot in places , love them jet boats
fishing was great , was a bonus to have the guide vic fishing along side me to watch and learn the different styles and techniques he used. With bit tuition he had me onto a few
all in all was a awsum experince and i can not talk highly enough about the guides and there time and effort they put in to making it a once in a life time experience
cheers curt
