landlocked no more !!!

Post by landlocked »

After spending the last 4 yrs living and working in communites in central oz i am moving over to where there is some water :fishing: and a pub :drinking5: .
i am on my way to windorah, heart of the channel country SE QLD on the mighty cooper creek.
it mightnt sound much to you lucky blokes but it is a big deal to me being able to launch the poly after work , have a beer and hopefuly catch a yella belly. So i wont be able to get on here for awhile so keep ya rods up and have a good year.

ps this site is the only thing that has kept me sane over here lol

From the heart of the channel country.

Congrats LL no fisherman should be that far away from water for soooo long.

You should be able to find a computer somewhere.
Smile, be happy & go fishing.

Work is getting in the way of my fishing.
My boss says fishing is getting in the way of my work.
I will soon fix both of our problems by quitting.

I know how you feel, I have been working in communities in central Oz only for the year, not 4, and am now heading to the Victoria River Region and i cant wait. Have not been there before but cant wait to explore it and catch some Barra.

Good on ya,

I also know how you feel. But for me I'm surrounded totally by water, and cant launch the boat :banghead:

But at least I've got beer!!.

I reckon that'd be nice country down there. Plenty pigs too, I hear.
