Gday Fellow Fishing Freaks,

Just wondering if anyone can let me know if the Vernons have been fishing well latley?
Only asking as I havent been that way for ages, hopefully there are still some macks around,,

I would normally hit dundee but I do better out that way on the springs,

Yeah brus went there 2 weeks ago on the last good set of neaps Goldies to 65cm at night on the ledges between 2nd & 3rd island and Macs & Tuna to 100cm the next morning at Smith Reef around behind the 3rd island Weather was nice and calm too

Pretty keen on a trip out that way my self.

never been out to the vernon's looking at next weekend though.

dont mean to hijack the thread.. but wondering if leaders creek is the best option to launch? is the ramp at leaders good for larger boats 6.7m? any rock bars to worry about on the lows etc etc etc?

IMO you'd be crazy to launch at leaders... I just launch at nightcliff or buff creek depending on the tides and how I feel.
only 35km's or something from nightcliff, nice easy 40min cruise over there vs hour and a bit by road to leaders + then travel time to the vernons.. it's a no brainer for me!

lumbo - Just scrap the trip all together.

save your dollars and get on the box trip you had planned from months ago. dont puss out now.
