hey guys,
gunna go to the roper for the week starting on the 22nd. anyone got any info on the place as it is my 1st time out there, where to camp? where to fish? what to look out for? any info would be appreciated.

Ask Warren at Katherine Rod and Rifle for latest conditions - he likes the Roper.
It is a great river - lots of snags, lots of creeks, rockbars up the top, clear water up top - the boat ramp down at Tomato Island probably won't have hordes of tourists yet if the road is open, might be worth a look.
