There are often people in my backyard. They never bring anything to a party but they always seem to be carrying some of my stuff away with them so i never get a chance to ask if they are from the Larrikia mob or not. :lolpoint:
Maybe next time i should ask them instead of swearing at them

I had a mate who went out with his 2 boys, both under 12 years old, doing a bit of fishing of the beach when a car load of guys pulled up, started getting stuck into him about being on there land, he didn't know, was saying no problems, we will leave then when he gets smacked to the ground, his kids were freaked out, he drove off with them hurling abuse at them, not a good situation, and doesn't reflect well with the young ones in tow.
Cheers,
Brad

I've heard a few stories, main one that sticks out was where an argument ended with a spear being chucked by some feral. Not too sure if it's true, but judging by all the stories I've heard there's one or a few blokes out there with IQ lower than their bl..dy shoe size.

Lol @ nomad
Guys out there are lucky they haven't had their heads kicked in quite honestly, I've been threatened twice over the years and always outnumbered. Gutless pr..ks aren't interested in having a go one on one.
Plus I honestly didn't think I was anywhere near their land the second time. First time I was but I learnt my lesson and respected their claim to the land.
But there's a right and a wrong way to go about things, threatening to bash people and being Agro from the first word isn't the right way to get through to people I reckon

My 8yo son and I spent a night sleeping in our tinny on the sandbar 3 weeks ago. My son caught his first legal barra about 10pm, 94cm, trolling the rock as the tide went out.
About 1130pm when the tinny was fully high and dry on the bar a group came out in an ATV and advised us that it was private property and we were trespassing. I apologized and said (honestly) that I didn't know it was privately owned and was sorry, to which they said no problems, please don't make a mess, and then they left us alone for the rest of the night.
I respect the traditional land ownership and appreciate the opportunity to be able to fish in shoal bay. Hopefully we will do many more overnighters up the bay but, unless an emergency situation arises, we will not stop on the bar. Less of the inflammatory comments by other FFF members would be very much appreciated.
