hi all, i am after any local info on seven emus station. i am trying to put a fishing trip together for october next year traveling from sunshine coast qld. have done a coupla trips to cape york but am new to the gulf. probable 6 blokes in 3 4x4s and 2 or 3 tinnys. is october the better time of the year as far as traveling and reasonable fishing, will a 4.2 mtr tinny with 30hp be ok. where can you camp in the station and is fresh water available. is there other better spots to camp near seven emus [don't like crouds] any other info would be great. thanks

will be plenty of camping spots all to yourself in October, too hot for most at that time but fishing shouldl be good, with calm weather. Lots of creeks and coast to explore.
