HIGH TIDE??

Post by Sweaty »

Hey guys,

Normal a fan of fishing the low, but tomorrow I have about 4 or 5 hours free straight over lunch and thinking of fishing the neap high tide..

Done basically no fishing in the Darwin Region so looking for some advise if possible..

Taking a mate out who would like to do some bottom bashing so was thinking of launching at Middle Arm ramp and fishing the few deep holes south of the boat ramp..

I know the area is pretty rocky and Matty Flynn's book tells people to only go out over 4.2 so that's what I am doing?

Does this sound like something worth wild trying, or is there some better options..

Cheers in advance.

10 loaves of bread and go to larrakea mate. Get into some milkfish. They go well on light gear. Had one strip 200m+ of 10lb braid today and took 40mins to land.

You can fish it lower than that but the chances of hitting something are greater on a first trip. Take it slow and put a cheap alloy prop on

Rocks on the banks give away many of the bad spots, but not all.
