Could be heading there this long weekend.
Heard mixed reports about a wash out on the dirt section near the falls.
(high clearance 4x4?)
Any one been on that road in the last month or so.
Is it a real wash out or just some rough ground?

Ring Bowali visitor center for latest info 8938 1120. or try the kakdu website http://www.environment.gov.au/parks/kakadu/news.html although not 100% up to date.

Have checked out the road reports, they are about a month old at present.
Will call the visitor centre.
I'll get in , but have some friends in soft 4x4's, I tell them if your careful you'll be right.
I think they want a hwy.
