Fuel Prices Roper Bar and Cape Crawford - Limmen Bight

Post by gammo42 »

Can anyone tell me the current price for fuel at Roper Bar and Cape Crawford? ULP(OPAL) and Diesel?

And for anyone traveling to Limmen Bight this year be aware that they will not have any fuel for sale - that's what they told me last week anyway.

diesel was $1.92 at Cape Crawford last week. Sorry but I didn't check out ULP, PULP or Opal.

Cheers

they have eftpos, a payphone there but no mobile reception, you can get mobile reception with telstra if you drive up the back of the shop near the airstrip

In the more remote places I personally NEVER rely on technology, specially when it comes to stuff like eftpos. Best to always carry enough of the folding stuff to get you through. Just don't go advertising it or flashing it about and don't have it all in 1 place. Eg your wallet.
Travel all the time and gave up counting how many times people have been caught out just because the good old VISA wont work.

Yeah good advice there Joe, always carry enough when going to those remote places. I too split mine up and store in different locations.
