So my brother arrives tonight and we head out on Monday for five days fishing. I still haven't decided where to take him.

South Alligator- by all reports sounds primed and ready to fire.

Daly- bigger tides late in the week, Mac trolling?

Finniss- already firing, but tides getting big. Plenty of Macs around for blue water backup.

Shady- not really keen to wreck my new prop retrieving the boat.

Roper- found the bait and fish last week, but nothing over 80cms. Long way to go. Have the big girls moved up?

By Back-cast's posts the last 2 days the fish have been smaller and fewer.

Voting tight. Daly, Finniss 5 votes, South 4. Still leaning towards the south and maybe a day or two down the East. The East might be worth it just for the scenery for the southerner.

south good place to base ya self can fish east if its slow on south, or drive back to barkhut and fish shady .
Both have a bar to drink your self stupid if fishings slow or you finally come to realise you have the most boring one dimensional coach to grace the AFL.

I think the Finniss provides you options, Dundee is a good base camp to regroup each night without having to drive to far if it's not on. You will work out on the first day when the barra window is, then head blue to chase everything else to fill the day. Bynoe harbour would be good on building tides too.

Still so bitter all these years later! Thought you'd be happy your boys have managed to fall across the line a couple of times this season. I even picked em this week!
